John points to Jesus' love and asks what happens when we see someone in need. Caring words matter, and love also calls us to act. Consider one need you already know about. A meal, a ride, or sharing what you have may be a simple way to put love into practice.
Jesus, thank You for showing us love through what You did. Help me respond to a need I can meet today. Make me willing to give my time or share what I have.
In prayer, we come honestly before God. We can praise Him, confess sin, give thanks, and bring Him every need while He shapes our hearts.
