Seek His Grace LLC ("we," "us," and "our") operates Seek His Grace and is responsible for the personal information collected and used through the platform. This policy covers the Seek His Grace website and mobile app. It explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Our hosting provider estimates your country from your IP address so we can offer Bible translations according to regional availability. We use the country code while handling your request. We do not request GPS access or save your country to your account.
Seek His Grace uses essential cookies and browser storage for site functionality.
Reporter notes are reviewed by authorized moderators. Moderation evidence is retained while a case or appeal is open, then its content is cleared 30 days after final closure.
Before using Companion, we ask permission to share your messages, relevant conversation history, and attached passage or other context with OpenAI to generate replies. Before submitting or editing a prayer request or praise report, we separately ask permission to share that content with OpenAI for safety checks and to help prepare anonymous community prayer themes.
These choices are remembered separately for your account on the current device or browser. Guests on the website have a separate browser choice. You can choose “Not now” and continue using other features. The information panel in each feature lets you withdraw permission for future sharing. Withdrawing permission does not undo previous processing or delete saved content; use the available deletion controls to remove saved conversations or prayer requests. Requests already submitted may still be processed for the purposes you agreed to when submitting them.
Bible companion responses are generated by AI and may contain mistakes or incomplete information. We encourage you to verify important details with Scripture and other trusted sources before relying on responses.
Companion responses are intended for reflective, educational support and are not professional medical, legal, financial, or crisis guidance.
Signed-in users may submit a prayer request for the current day. Requests are encrypted in the Seek His Grace database, checked by automated safety tools, and may be decrypted by an authorized admin only when reviewing a specific anonymous grouping. AI helps generalize requests into privacy-protective themes, but an admin must review and manually publish each weekly summary.
Public summaries do not include names, contact details, source identifiers, dates, or request counts. Please do not submit names, phone numbers, email addresses, workplaces, locations, or healthcare-provider details. Daily Prayer is not monitored for urgent help, and Seek His Grace does not alert an admin or emergency service in response to a request.
Notifications are optional. You can choose reminder times and notification categories in the app, turn notifications off in the app, or disable them in your device settings. Some routine reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Push delivery uses the providers listed above. We use routine completion and relevant discussion activity to decide whether a notification is appropriate; we do not include private journal entries, Companion conversations, prayer requests, or reflection text in notification messages. Notification previews may appear on your lock screen according to your device settings.
Signing out deactivates that device's push registration. Deleting your account removes its notification preferences, device registrations, and delivery records. Inactive device registrations are cleaned up after 90 days without registration activity; notification records and related delivery records are cleaned up 30 days after the notification expires.
Daily Verse comments and reactions are community features and may be visible to other users and guests. Please do not post sensitive personal information.
You can permanently delete your Seek His Grace account from Account Settings on the website or in the app. You do not need to reinstall the app. Deletion removes your account and saved content and cannot be undone. Website subscriptions are canceled; Apple and Google Play subscriptions must be canceled separately through your store account. Payment records held by those providers and already published anonymous prayer themes may remain. Encrypted backups follow their retention schedule and are not a way to recover a deleted account.
Your agreement for Companion and Quick Verse Search is saved to your account across devices. Prayer request processing has a separate agreement. You can withdraw either permission from that feature's information panel. Withdrawal stops future sharing; it does not recall information already processed. Previously shared prayer originals remain subject to deletion and retention controls.
Mobile widgets keep selected Scripture and routine information on your device for display and offline use. Personal widget settings are cleared when you sign out or delete your account.
You can control profile display data in your account, delete your own Daily Verse comments, edit or delete individual Daily Prayer requests shared today, and delete all retained Daily Prayer requests through available in-app controls.
